WEF S.T.A.R.S. (School Teachers Are Really Special)

Twice a year, in the fall and in the spring, WEF’s focus on educational excellence

is carried out in this popular program that enables anyone in the Wakefield

community to recognize a special teacher, aide, specialist or office personnel

by making a monetary donation on behalf of the "star" whom they feel helped

their child achieve academic excellence or who created an exceptional

environment in which their child could learn. This special person will receive

a lovely certificate of appreciation from the individual(s) who donated on

their behalf.

This is just another fabulous way to recognize academic excellence by the wonderful staff in the Wakefield Public Schools.
