The Wakefield Educational Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, which is composed of community, parent and school volunteers, who are committed to making Wakefield’s great school system even better. During the school year, board meetings are regularly held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (except November - meeting is Nov. 10th). Current board members and meeting minutes are listed below. WEF Community Members
As the demand for WEF mini-grants increases, the need for membership will grow accordingly. If you wish to become a WEF Community Member and volunteer your time, please complete our online volunteer form. One of our members will contact you to tell you more about our current needs as it relates to volunteer staff. You do not have to have any special training, just a willingness to work as part of a dedicated team that desires to support and build educational excellence in our Wakefield Public School System.
