01/18/2012: WEF announces 11th annual Chocolate Rose Sale

4th Annual 'A Taste of Wakefield' - Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011
The Wakefield Educational Foundation and the Friends of Wakefield Baseball will be co-sponsoring the 4th Annual, "A Taste of Wakefield" on Tuesday, December 6th from 6 to 9 PM at the Sheraton Colonial Hotel. The event will feature delicious "tastes" from many local Fine-dining Establishments, as well as some fabulous raffle and auction items. The evening is being organized to raise private donations to support WEF's grant program as well as the High School baseball program. Please join us for a delicious evening out. Organizers of the 15th annual "24 Hour Around the Lake Marathon, Relay and Ultra Marathon" recently presented a portion of the proceeds from the July, 2011 event around Lake Quannapowitt to WEF...
